The countryside is varied and beautiful, but the excellence of our experience came from being with family and the new friends. Being with our wonderful tour guide and nephew Nick would have been enough to brag up our experience. But we were also treated to knowing his great friends through the culminating day of his art exhibit followed by dining and drinking. Nick is a "prince of a man" in so many ways. His heart is big, his soul is humble and his character is full of positive energy and integrity. And he's the kind of person that is just fun to be around. We love Nick! But if that wasn't enough to put me over the edge, meeting our family in Rabka (Stanik, Maria, Gosia, Kasia, and Basia) had my heart spilling over with gratitude and love for this time, place and this family who gave us such a warm and generous welcome, that I really didn't want to leave. And so, part of my heart has been left behind.
We started our trip in Paris with a day and a half layover. The day we got there we visited the Lourve until our dogs were feeling the effects of jetlag.

We went to Hotel Therese and slept off followed by dinner at a little french cafe.
